Is there such a thing has having a way to convert a VHS to DVD?
Just wondering because theres this rare movie I want and it only comes on VHS, but I no longer have a VCR.

You can transfer the content of a vhs tape to a dvd, the only thing is that it may or may not have a protective feature that prevents this, depending on how old it is. Sometimes this can be defeated with the right equipment. You can look in the phone book under video production services or something similar, they will probably want to know that you dont intend to sell it and that its just for personal use.
